APRIL 2024

Our new paper on actively tunable nanomechanical lasers (Paper link) led by Hyojun and Melvina has been published in Nature Nanotechnology! By closely working with a French team led by Yanko Todorov and Carlo Sirtori at Ecole Normale Supérieure, we demonstrated mid-infrared tunable lasers integrated on silicon. This new type of tunable lasers harnesses nanomechanical resonances to achieve ultra-low power consumption for laser emission tuning. Congratulations to the team for this achievement!
