Straintronics for
Revolutinizing Integrated Photonics

Our research group is dedicated to developing and applying innovative strain engineering techniques for discovering unprecedented optical properties in various materials. More specifically, we develop a new class of photonic devices including lasers and photodetectors that can enable the realization of integrated optical and quantum computing technologies.

We are Hiring!

We are currently seeking for highly motivated candidates for PhD and research staff positions. The central theme of our group focuses on developing a new class of semiconductor-based light sources for next-generation optical and quantum computing. If you are interested, please send your CV to dnam@ntu.edu.sg.
